Effort less

Standard

A person I once considered a good friend has made themselves known once again.  I am a friendship snob.  I have standards for friendship and if you can’t meet and maintain those standards the friendship usually doesn’t survive.

I’m cautiously guarded as you begin to try and rebuild what you allowed for so long to be broken, but I do smile when I see your name.

I try so hard not to admire your effort to save whatever this is.

It’s been a very rough year for me, things have gone off track and fallen apart.  I can’t help but to think you were sent for a larger purpose.

At this time in my life I will not match your effort, but I will willingly join you when all of this become effortless.

welcome back
